Pittsburg State University is located in the southeast corner of the state of Kansas and was founded in 1903. The 2008 freshman enrollment is 1104. The university awards bachelors degrees, masters degrees, education specialist degrees, associate degrees and professional certificates in more than 100 majors and academic programs across four colleges-the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Education and the College of Technology. Within six months of graduation, approximately 80% of Pittsburg State University graduates are either gainfully employed or enrolled in advanced studies.
